about.

My personal and professional career paths have taken me on a journey of memories and learning experiences that have helped my grow every step of the way. Growing up near Portland, I continued my education at the University of Oregon in Eugene. In addition to gaining my degree, I was also a member of the Universities football program. As a Wide Receiver for the then Pac-10 Ducks, I got the honor of playing in three bowl games, many packed houses throughout the country, and gaining some incredible memories with my teammates. Because I loved sports on and off the field, I graduate in 2010 with a Sports Business Marketing degree from the Warsaw Sports Business school at U of O.

Post playing career, I started my professional path in an industry I would have never thought was attainable, TV production. As a creative-minded individual, I quickly realized that producing was an appealing career path for me in Los Angeles. For years I worked behind the camera for likely some of your favorite reality TV programs. Always a lover of good food, I was able to help create the highest rated shows in Food Network History. From Chopped, to Cupcake and Cake Wars, Iron Chef America, and more, I received more than 50 producer credits over 7 years. My producing career culminated with two major awards. I was fortunate to win multiple Emmy awards as part of the production team of Top Chef on Bravo. Never would I think that my ideas would make Emmy winning TV! Finally, as much as I loved food and baking, I was quite a terrible baker myself. This lead to my final passion project, and was the inspiration for me to create the show "Nailed It" on Netflix. Overall, my 7 years in Los Angeles as a Creative Director for multiple networks and agencies gave me invaluable experience that I would take on my next career journey.

The past three years I’ve excelled as a Partnership Marketing Manager with the Portland Trail Blazers. During this time I played an integral part of the Corporate Partnerships team. It was here that I owned a book of business while strategically brainstorming and implementing marketing tactics for a variety of clients. During that time I grew my book of business by more than 30% to over $5M. From growing long-time partners like the Oregon Lottery, adidas, and Nike, to building new business relationships with Umpqua Bank, Darigold, and Apple, I exceeded my personal business goals while helping set department revenue records each season. The diverse nature of my clients allowed me to build everything from B2B campaigns, to paid digital communication plans, strategic sales strategies, or focus on brand marketing. In addition to highlighting my creative skills, I was also able to advance my technical skills with both Microsoft and Adobe suites, CRM, data analytics/tracking and more.

Overall, I'm a passionate marketing professional with over 10 years experience in sports, brand strategy, campaign management, media, and client relations. A seasoned manager with strong creative abilities who thrives under pressure. I'm an experienced team leader and an excellent problem solver with strong communication and relationship management skills. Innovative, outside the box thinker, and will always find a way to make the box grow.
